Dolls
I have been making cloth dolls since 2004. It all started when I found Patti Medaris Cules's book Creative Cloth Doll Making. The book was very inspiring, and I decided to try to make a doll of my own. Since then, I have not been able to stop making dolls ... At first I used Patti's patterns, but I soon found that I wanted to create my own patterns. I still experiment with patterns, as well as with materials, and making dolls gets more fun the more I learn!
My dolls are not toys. They are pieces of art, and not suitable for children to play with. (They would not last long in the hands of a child, I think!)
